XIX Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010
The archery competition at the 2010 Commonwealth Games was being held at the Yamuna Sports Complex between 4 and 10 October. This is the second games appearance of the optional Commonwealth Games sport, almost thirty years after its debut at the 1982 Commonwealth Games at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
23 nations entered 87 archers in men’s events and 18 nations entered 54 archers in women’s events into the tournament.
Commonwealth Games India’s Quest for Glory – Archery
Archery at the Commonwealth Games is target archery, where competitors shoot arrows at outdoor targets at marked distances. Eight events are included: four each for women and men, with separate events for recurve and compound bows, with separate categories for individual and team.
Preliminary rounds were held at Yamuna Sports Complex, whereas finals were held at India Gate.
India has send 12 archers to the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The 2010 Commonwealth Games are the nineteenth Commonwealth Games. The Games are scheduled to be held in Delhi, India between October 3, 2010 and October 14, 2010.
