Weekend Image Post – Miniature Paintings
Melody Lea Lamb lives in New England, United States along with her husband and two teenage kids. She is an artist, paints miniatures (ACEOs) of animals and fantasy, and illustrates children’s books (award winning illustrator).
Melody’s original art features miniature paintings and drawings that measure 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches (ACEOs) of whimsical animals, fantasy beings and woodland creatures. She works mainly in colored pencil, India ink and some white acrylic.
I met Melody about eighteen months back on Twitter. Since then we have shared our friendship on almost all major Social Media Network, and have many common friends. I have no hesitation to say that I love her art. I featured her as an artist on my blog way back in June, 2010.
All along, I followed her art work not only on her sites but also on Flickr, Facebook, Google+, among others. This month I requested her if she could pick some of her favorite miniatures for our blog. Her response was immediate, true to her sweet nature.
