GoldenTwine News – Announcement
Many BlueHost hosted websites and blogs including mine were down for hours today due to complete power outage affecting one of their data centers. I couldn’t even log in to my account.
In one of the online forums, someone posted this:
“I just talked to BlueHost. They said they shut down all of their west coast servers. They were told to keep them off until midnight (MST) which should be for about 2 more hours.
After that, he said that all servers should be up.”
When I tried to reach the BlueHost Help Center online, I found the following notice:

The Bluehost Helpdesk is currently unavailable and will be back soon.
There is a complete power outage effecting one of the Bluehost data centers, expected ETA is roughly 1:00 AM Mountain Standard Time.
Provo Power has requested that we shut down power while the transformer is being replaced. They are allowing us to use UPS power for the phone system. The other data center is unaffected by this outage.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
