The Men In Blue India taking on the Black Caps New Zealand in the opening match of the ICC World Twenty20 to be played today on March 15, 2016 at 7.30 pm IST at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur.
Google has created a Cricket Score ICC – New Zealand vs India Google Doodle to mark the significant tournament opener. The doodle features two cricket bats in the colours of the two teams criss-crossed against the Google logo with a ball on top, with a caption that reads ‘The Black caps take on the Men in Blue.’
If you click on the Doodle it will take you to the match experience centre in Google search, where you can see date wise fixtures latest scores, results, videos and much more.
This is the sixth edition of the tournament and and for the first time India is hosting it. The super 10 round which starts today has 10 countries participating including 8 top ranked nations and 2 qualifiers Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The final is scheduled to take place at the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata on April 3. India had won the first World Cup title which was held in the year 2007, and is certainly the favourites for the tournament.
