Weekend Video Post – Fresh Talented Singer
In my blog I occasionally feature successful or up-and-coming creative people like artists, singers and musicians whom I have met on twitter.
This week I met a young and talented singer Baby J from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Only featuring and complimenting a fresh and enthusiastic artist like her is not enough. Sadly such budding artists are often discouraged from pursuing art, dance or music by parents, teachers or counselors in schools. I am introducing this young singer to my readers with a humble request to find ways to encourage such young artists. Your comments to this blog post would be highly appreciated, and they would be promptly mailed to her.
On May 25, I received a message from her who had just followed me on twitter:

On visiting her profile page I found that she is tweeting the same innocent request to all her followers. Indeed, only a dedicated young artist won’t have anything else to tell her new found friends on the virtual world except about her music.
I visited her MySpace and YouTube pages and listened to her songs. Without any hesitation I would be so glad to share the same with my blog visitors.

My name is Baby J. I am 16 years old and I write all my own songs. I enjoy reading and writing poetry as well. I have been singing since I was 7 years old. At school, I get involved with all the singing activities. I aspire to be a famous singer so I work hard everyday so that I can make that dream come true.
