Happy Father’s Day 2017
Father’s Day is being celebrated every year on the third Sunday of June across the world, including India. But several countries such as Italy, Croatia, Spain and Portugal celebrate it on March 19. This day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children. This day celebrates fatherhood and male parenting.
Search giant Google celebrates this international special day by dedicating a heart-warming ‘cactus dad’ doodle to all the dads across the world. The animated doodle represents the celebration of ‘fatherhood’ and has honored all the sacrifices a father makes for his child.
The animated Google Doodle has beautifully illustrated the father-child bond into six pictures of a cactus plant where the father is loving and nurturing the younger one through different stages of growth. The animated doodle shows the story of a cactus father combing the child’s hair, playing with them, feeding them and being with them happily.
Google doodle this time decided to choose cactus for both mother’s and father’s day to show how both the parent is equally important throughout a child’s life.
On clicking the doodle, it takes the visitor to Google search result page for news on Father’s Day 2017.
