Google Feature — Interactive Doodle’s Pest Cricket
Google dedicates doodle to ICC Women’s World Cup 2017
Google is celebrating the opening day of the ICC Women’s World Cup (One Day International) cricket tournament with an interactive doodle. The doodle is a simple but allows you to play a game of pest cricket yourself, by clicking the mouse to swing the bat.
The game depicts crickets batting and snails fielding, a reference to Google’s promise that the game will work on even the slowest of networks. If the crickets get out for 0, then it transforms into a duck. Whenever a four and six is hit, there is cheers in the background.
All you have to do is simply click on the Doodle to start the game, swing the bat and watch as you knock a quick single, drive into the boundaries for four, or maybe even knock it into the stands for six or see the bails knocked off.
