Google dedicates doodle toT20 Cricket World Cup
Google has posted a new doodle on its homepage on Monday dedicated to ICC T20 World Cup 2016 beginning in India from March 8.
The latest doodle gives a bird’s eye view of a cricket stadium with the players in blue, red and the umpires in white on the field while the crowd cheering them from behind. A big banner of Google can be seen in the background. After clicking on the doodle the user is directed to a new page consisting of the entire schedule of the upcoming matches.
The event will be played across seven venues in India with 16 teams participating in it, and the final will be held at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 3.
This is the first time that India is hosting the ICC World T20.
