The International Cricket Council had unveiled the logo for the 2011 World Cup at a ceremony in Mumbai in July 2010.
The 2011 cricket world cup logo has been designed by Australian creative firm Witekite. It is very beautiful depicting the colourful ball in red, green and blue with people in action. The idea behind the logo is to celebrate the most admired sport cricket all over the world.

The Cricket World Cup will take place between February 19 and April 2, 2011. The tenth Cricket World Cup will be hosted by three South Asian Test cricket playing countries: India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
With an introductory video on January 29, 2011 till the final on April 2, 2011, we will bring you a series of articles to cover the Cricket World Cup extensively.
