Google dedicates doodle to India’s Independence Day 2017
August 15, 2017 marks the 71st Independence Day of India. Search giant Google dedicated its latest artistic doodle to the Independence Day of India 2017. The doodle includes a motif of Indian Parliament, a symbolic wheel for the Ashoka Chakra and two India’s national bird peacock in the colours of the national flag, saffron, green, white and blue. The word ‘Google’ is displayed across the Parliament House, made out of ribbons of the Indian tricolour. The doodle has been designed by a Mumbai based artist, Sabeena Karnik, who is known for her paper technique artwork.
On clicking the doodle, it takes the visitor to Google search result page for news on India’s Independence Day 2017.
