I had featured Sourabh Goho, a young tabla player from Kolkata, India, on my blog on July 17, 2010. Sourav is young but already an accomplished tabla player.
He has already performed in many on stage functions, won many competitions, and featured in printed and electronic media.
I am happy to learn that he is going to have an online Tabla Solo (Sarangi Accompanist: Vijai Mishra ) on 22nd June 2011 on radio broadcast Surtarang (Wave of Melody) on 101.8 WCR FM, Wolverhampton City, United Kingdom. The one hour broadcast will also feature music maestros like Swara Samrat Legendary Late Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Smt Lakshmi Shankar, Sarod Maestro Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, Pandit Raghunath Seth and Debojyoti Gupta.
