Today is the 122nd birth anniversary of the silent film legend, Charlie Chaplin. He was born on 16 April 1889 in London. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor on the vaudeville stage. He went to Hollywood in 1914 and began acting in silent comedies for Mack Sennett.
