Google Feature – Animated Happy New Year Doodle
Google has posted year’s first doodle wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
The colourful animated doodle features a party on with pounding speakers and disco dancing numbers 2, 0, 1, and 4 on a flashing dance floor made up of little squares that are changing colours, with the number 4 that was waiting patiently for the new year to begin has replaced the number 3 to signify changing of the year from 2013 to 2014.
The doodle’s mouse over reads ‘Happy New Year!’ and on clicking the doodle shows Google search results for the phrase New Year 2014. The first result is a Google search card that says, “Wednesday, January 1 New Year’s Day 2014.”
