Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, the world’s longest ocean bridge, opened to traffic on Jun 30, 2011 in the eastern city of Qingdao in Shandong Province. The 26 mile long bridge across Jiaozhou Bay has taken four years to complete, and links the eastern city of Qingdao with two offshore islands of Huangdao and Hongdao.
