The new tab with your @Username keeps you up to date on your tweets that are favorites, the latest retweets (of your tweets), tweets directed to you (replies and mentions), tweeps who have listed you, and your new followers.

Twitter rolled out two new tabs, @Username that replaced @Mentions and Retweets tabs, and the Activity tab on August 10, 2011. I have sour feelings about these new features which have come to me after three months waiting, and still full of bugs.

Twitter has rolled out a simple, but powerful new feature “Suggestions for You.” The algorithms in this feature suggest people you don’t currently follow that you may find interesting. The suggestions are based on several factors, including people you follow and the people they follow. You’ll see these suggestions on Twitter.com and the Find People section.
