
Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, also called the Qingdao Gulf Bridge, is the world’s longest cross-sea bridge. It opened to traffic on Jun 30, 2011 in Qingdao in eastern China’s Shandong Province. The 26 mile long bridge across Jiaozhou Bay has taken four years to complete, and links China’s eastern port city of Qingdao with two offshore islands of Huangdao and Hongdao.
