Double amputee Pistorius clocked 45.07 seconds for the 400 metres in Lignano. He will now become the first amputee sprinter to compete in the track and field world championships in Daegu. Pistorius will be the first Paralympic athlete in prostheses who may compete against able-bodied runners in the London Olympics next year.

He loves playing street cricket, would play 24/7 if he could, and dreams of playing in the World Cup one day.
