Google Plus – Social Statistics
Google unveiled its social network Google+ on June 28, 2011. Since then, it has been opened up mainly to journalists, bloggers and others in the tech community.
SocialStatistics shows you the top 100 Google+ users at any time.
According to the Google+ Statistics on SocialStatistics, the Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is currently the most followed person on about a month old Google+. The others in the top five of a list of 100 people are: Google CEO Larry Page is second, Google co-founder Sergey Brin is third, Mashable CEO Pete Cashmore is fourth, and Google Senior Vice President Vic Gundrota is fifth.
Even though Zuckerberg is on top of the list, he has yet to post a status update on Google’s social network. His about page states I make things, and lists Palo Alto, CA as a place where he has lived. Most of the top 25 people on the list are from the tech community.
