Google+ Project – Instant Upload

Taking photos is fun. Sharing photos is fun. Getting photos off your phone and on to the web is pretty much the opposite of fun. That’s why we have created Instant Upload: So that from now on, your photos upload themselves.

Google+ Project – Huddle

Texting is great, but not when you’re trying to get six different people to decide on a movie. Huddle takes care of it by turning all those different conversations into one simple group chat, so that everyone gets on the same page.

Social Media consists of media that support and encourage social interaction among users. For instance, online discussion forums are designed to allow people to post messages and for other users to respond in kind.
While there may be social aspects to any medium (e.g. links to share an article by email), social media typically refers to those media whose major functions are oriented toward sharing of information, and consequently most of the information on such media are generated by users. Common examples of social media sites are Twitter and Facebook.

  1. Can’t wait til I get my invite – this looks like the least cluttered, most streamlined networking yet. Hopefully, they can keep it that way, and also keep out the spam bots and everything else that eventually plagues all social network sites.

Also, great choice on the music in the instant upload vid, I love The Album Leaf and I am eagerly waiting the release of the Torey’s Distraction soundtrack, too (which has the song used here, “Torey Age 10”).

    • Google+ is going to be a big hit. Many cool features to start with, and many more to come. People are eagerly waiting for an invite.
