The Queen’s Baton Relay is a tradition of the Commonwealth Games and acts as a curtain raiser to every Games since Cardiff 1958 Commonwealth Games in Wales. The Ashoka Chakra, the national symbol of freedom, unity and power, is the inspiration for the logo of the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.
