August 15, 2018 marks the 72nd Independence Day of India. Search giant Google dedicated its latest colorful and vibrant doodle to the India Independence Day 2018. Google mentioned that the doodle was a tribute to truck art seen on Indian roads. The doodle features images of some of India’s iconic colorful plant life like the mangoes and the lotus, a peacock-couple at the centre, flanked by an elephant and a tiger, with the sun rising in the backdrop.

August 15, 2017 marks the 71st Independence Day of India. Search giant Google dedicated its latest artistic doodle to the Independence Day of India 2017. The doodle includes a motif of Indian Parliament, a symbolic wheel for the Ashoka Chakra and two India’s national bird peacock in the colours of the national flag, saffron, green, white and blue. The word ‘Google’ is displayed across the Parliament House, made out of ribbons of the Indian tricolour. The doodle has been designed by a Mumbai based artist, Sabeena Karnik, who is known for her paper technique artwork.

India celebrates 68th Republic Day 2017 today. Search giant Google dedicated its latest non-animated doodle to the 68th Republic Day of India. The doodle shows a stadium full of people lined with the three colours of Indian flag: saffron, white and green. The doodle shows one-half of the stadium, with the crowd on two corners, while a saffron-coloured band runs along the inner periphery of the semi-circular track.

In honor of India’s 67th Republic Day, Artist Robinson Wood created today’s Google Doodle as a tribute to the camel contingent of the Border Security Force (BSF) that patrols the India-Pakistan border. The colourful doodle shows men on top of six elaborately decorated camels. Each of the six camels carries a letter of the word ‘Google’ on its golden caparison.
